我們為台灣這次遭受到莫拉克颱風所產生的悲劇的人們,為這些失去家園、財產及摯愛的親人,為這些事情受苦的.
沒有任何言語能夠安慰他們的痛.
我們這小小教會想告訴他們我們與你們同在。雖然實際上的幫助是有限的，因為我們有沒有豐富的資源與財富。
但是我們不斷的為你們禱告,我們每日會舉行聖禮儀祈求,能快速將受困者救出,也能順利找到罹難的屍體.
並非是我們詞窮,然而能幫助我們弟兄姊妹的,唯有上帝的恩典去安慰受苦受難者及死者的靈.
人類不是只有透過口頭言語的溝通,事實上,上帝的恩典能透過我們的淚水及真誠的心直接將我們複雜的情緒帶來更大更好的安慰.
現在不是來回答,為什麼會造成這悲劇這無解的答案.
不只是我們的弟兄及小林村他們的家園被埋在泥濘中,上帝祂自己與他們同時也埋在土裡,與他們一同受苦一同承受這悲劇.
世界充滿了痛苦,世界存在多久這苦就有多久,有痛就要受苦,上帝也置身其中,上帝體驗過宇宙所有的苦,承受過去及未來的痛苦直到世界更新為止,上帝充滿著光,雖是祂是全能的上帝,但祂尊重我們的自由選擇權,他不強迫我們,他耐心的等待我們參與世界的改變與更新,我們是祭司與宇宙的領導者,我們的職責是將一切合一.
萬物之所以存在因著祂的扶持,因著上帝的愛.
總是有些美善的事,隱藏在這悲劇的背後.
卑微的我只想說這悲劇將我們拉得更近。喚醒自私的我們。讓我們再次發現與參與這令人傷痛的悲劇.
我們知道上帝的愛讓我們緊緊連結在一起,無論有沒有颱風、災難甚至死亡,在神的愛中不能將我們彼此分離.
我們所失去的親人始終與我們合一,這是來自上帝,無不關你的信仰和宗教.
我們為他們向上帝祈求,祈求並非提醒上帝要做祂的工作,或祂忘了做,然而上帝無處不在,祂與失散著一同埋藏在泥濘中也與他的家人同在, 祂也是失散者,向祂開啟我們的心,允許我們在祂面前為這慘痛的悲劇放聲哭嚎.
為失散者的名來祈禱呼求,為他者來祈禱,透過這祈禱特別是行聖禮儀的恩典,成為已故者與失散者,與在台灣這塊土地的所有人.
這合一是真實確據的生活.
這種合一是颱風所不能將他們分離,這樣的合一讓我們如何面對險峻的生存儘管災難不斷.
我們失散的親人依然活在我們及上帝的愛中,天國已為小林村的亡者開啟一扇窗.
在愛中我們與失散的親人合一, 在復活之日我們將會再次相擁直到永遠.

Those our of tragedy for our taiwan , we are all pray for all those who loose their lives their beloved persons , their properties and suffered by any way.
There are not words to comfort the people.
Our small church only wants to say that we are with them. Our practical help is nothing, we have not any resources.
But we pray. We do the liturgy every day and pray for the missing and the dead.
It is not our poor words , that can help our brothers ,but the grace of god to comfort the suffering and give rest to the souls of the departed.
Human communication is not only verbal, and oral. Indeed is more the grace of god which will be more directed and mixed by the tears of our hearts which can speak better and comfort.
It is not the time for answers to the unansered question why all this tragedy.
It is not only our brothers of siao lin village who are buried under the water. It is God himself also buried with them, suffering with them and participating to their tragedy.
There is pain in the world. As long as the world is as it is, there is pain and suffering. God participates to this suffering. God tested all the suffering of the universe , the suffering of the past and the future till the world to be renewed , full of the light of god. But this is not up to god. God is not almighty. He respects our freedom. He is waiting us to participate in the transfiguration of the world , we are the priests and the leaders of the universe , our job is to unite everything.
God keeps everything to existence , because he loves everything.
There is always something good , something secreat lesson, behind the obvious tragedy.
I only want humbly to say that this tragedy brings us more close. Awakes us from our selfishness. Makes us to rediscover that there is pain.
But also we know, that the love of god keeps us together. There is no typhoon, there is no disaster, there is not any kind of death that can separate us , can break our love.
Our missing people will be always united with us by the bond of love , which comes of god, nommater what religion or faith the people have.
We will pray to god for them, not to remind to god to do his job , which he did not, but to the god who is everywhere and still buried under the water and close to the families of the missing, who is one of the missing. We pray to open freely our hearts to Him. To allow to cry in front of him for the tragedy.
To pray in the name of the missing. To pray FOR the others. by this prayer , and specially the grace of the divine liturgy to become one with the departed and missing, with all the people and the land of Taiwan
This union is the real authentic life.
This union cannot be broken by any typhoon. This union gives us life to continue the life in spite of every disaster.
Our missing people live in the love , of god and ours. Siao lin is a window to paradise.
We are united in love with our missing people. And we will embrace them again in the date of resurrection for ever.
